Stall Application Terms And Conditions

1. GENERAL
1.1. CT Pride will be referred to as “CTP”
1.2. The company or organisation booking the stall shall name an individual who will be responsible for the stall under these terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as "the stallholder").
1.3. CTP reserves the right to refuse admission to the Pride Parade Party (hereinafter referred to as "PPP") to any stallholders who fail to abide by these terms and conditions, or to take action to ensure compliance.
1.4. Any decision made by CTP will be final.
1.5. A stall is defined as an area approximate to the size options mentioned in the application form.
1.6. All stalls are taken at the risk of the stallholder.
1.7. Stalls are not transferable. The content of a stall must not be substantially different to that indicated by the name of the stall on the original booking form.
1.8. The Stallholder agrees to indemnify CTP against any damage CTP, it’s agents or sponsors or the property of third parties.
1.9. Stallholders will be granted access to PPP from 9am on 10 March 2012 to set up their stalls.
1.10. Stalls should be set up by midday and stallholders must vacate the PPP at 9pm on 10 March 2012 at the latest.
1.11. Stallholders must set up their own stalls. CTP is unable to provide assistance with the set-up or takedown of external organisations stalls, including the loading and unloading of equipment and materials.
1.12. Stallholders are responsible for clearing up their stall, and all waste material in or around it.
1.13. Stallholders must keep their stalls, displays and activities within the space allocated to their stalls.
1.14. Stallholders must behave in a considerate and responsible manner to CTP staff, volunteers, other stallholders and all those attending. Failure to do so may result in expulsion from the premises.
This extends to all people acting on behalf of stallholders in an official or unofficial capacity.
1.15. The stallholder may park within the premises of the PPP for the purposes of loading and unloading only. No vehicle is not to be left, even temporarily, in such a manner as to block access to the PPP venue.
1.16. Stallholders will not be granted access to electric power unless these facilities have been requested in advance and such provision has been confirmed in writing by CTP.
1.17. To avoid excessive noise, stallholders are not permitted to play music or other amplified noise (e.g. use of microphones).
1.18. Locations of stalls will be pre-determined by CTP and will not necessarily be on a “first come first served” basis.
1.19. The number of persons/staff attending a stall will be limited to three. Stallholders who wish to bring more than 3 persons/staff must notify CTP at least one week prior to the date of the event.
CTP will notify the stallholder whether the request can be accommodated.
1.20. Stallholders are expected to remove all unused publicity, promotional materials and other stall materials from the property when they leave. Stallholders who do not do this will be invoiced for the costs of any additional rubbish removal and cleaning required after the event.

2. NATURE OF BUSINESS
2.1. Since CTP has valuable contracts with certain businesses, we are unable to allow any company to sell, distribute or promote the following goods in the PPP premises:
▪ BOTTLED WATER
▪ ALCOHOL
▪ CIGARETTES
▪ ENERGY DRINKS
2.2. FOOD may only be sold or provided by Stallholders authorised to do so by CTP.
2.3. Individuals and/or companies may only use their stall to exhibit their own products/services and not those of any third party without prior written agreement.
2.4. Any Stallholder failing to comply with this regulation will immediately be asked to leave the premises. If you are unsure about any aspect of this please do not hesitate to contact CTP.

3. HEALTH & SAFETY
3.1. Stallholders shall ensure that their Health and Safety responsibilities are met not only for themselves, but also for CTP staff, volunteers and the general public.
3.2. Stallholders are required to keep the area around their stand clear from obstacles that might pose a risk from slipping or trips, to tape down any wires with hazard tape, and ensure all their staff are aware of the location of First Aid services on site.
3.3. All Stall holders supplying food must ensure that they are appropriately licensed to do so, that they meet all statutory and regional requirements related to the healthy preparation, storage and sale of food, and must be authorised to sell food by CTP.

4. FIRE PREVENTION
4.1. Stallholders must not block fire exits and rubbish should be cleared away as soon as possible to prevent a fire risk from developing around stands.

5. REPORTING OF ACCIDENTS AND HAZARDS
5.1. Stallholders shall ensure that accidents, potential accidents or hazards are reported either to CTP staff or volunteers.
5.2. The responsibility for the health and safety of staff remains with the stallholder.
